How To
Obtain Certificates UK

Copies of the certificates may be obtained from the local registry office of the district where the registration took place. Occasionally they may do it straight away. The General Register Office (GRO) index reference, ie details of the Year, Quarter Ending, Last Name, Forenames and District are needed. It also helps to know the church, religion etc.
